When I saw the ad in the Independent Record for the Pardis Chiropractic Clinic, I had already made up my mind that I absolutely HAD to do something to alleviate the pain I had almost constantly in my back and neck. I had spent lots and lots of $$$'s trying different mattress toppers. First a featherbed topper that helped for a few nights. Then I added one of the egg-crate mattress toppers. That made my back hurt worse. Then I bought a more expensive featherbed topper that felt like it helped for a few months, but then the constant pain in bed again. My last purchase was a memory foam mattress topper ( a real thick, good quality one). It, too, helped ease my back pain at night for a while, but the pain returned. When I got out of bed in the morning, I would worry that my legs would not support me - my back hurt that bad. I could not get a good night's rest due to back pain. Getting in and out of my car hurt. Sitting anywhere hurt. Walking hurt. After my initial exam, Dr. Pardis felt sure he could help me. HE HAS!!!! I am sleeping all night (good, restful sleep), I can get out of bed with no pain, and I am in and out of my car with no pain. I feel like a new person again and have Dr. Pardis to thank for that. --Leona Zaharko
A locked jaw . . . that was how I became acquainted with Dr. Pardis and the saff of the Pardis Chiropractic Clinic. I had lived with back pain for many, many years and-during stressful, busy times at work-severe neck pain. I was not sleeping well and had problems with my legs. Those are some of the problems I was living with when I sought help for a locked jaw. I never, ever thought I would seek the services of a chiropractor. I have become a "believer." I no longer live with daily back pain, chronic fatigue; and I can walk distances for the first time in many, many years. I think that is the thing that has made me the happiest . . . that I can walk. I just feel like a new person and my thanks gor to Dr. Pardis for his encouragement and treatment. --Nadine Fox
I would like to share with you my thoughts regarding chiropractic care and Dr. Pardis' office in particular. After working forty years in the hospital health care system, I was somewhat hesitant to try chiropractic care; but I needed to find relief of the pain in my neck, shoulder, back and hip. Due to the pain I was not sleeping well and had much difficulty climbing stairs and lifting items. My physician had placed me on a one week treatment of steroids and muscle relaxants. Finding no relief, I decided to try chiropractic care. Am I grateful that I did? YES. Have I found relief? YES. Following the most thorough examination I have ever had, Dr. Pardis made a diagnosis and a plan of care for me. I am still in that plan of care but no longer have neck, back or hip pains and am sleeping well. I am impressed with the warm, friendly and efficient professionalism of Dr. Pardis and his staff. --Jean Simpson
I have been fortunate to enjoy 46 years of heavy work and hard play. Ranching, construction, firefighting, rugby and bungee jumping to name just a few . . . But my body is finally playing payback. As Montanans, we are taught to "Cowboy Up," don't whine and heal thyself. Not always the best advice it turns out! For years this seemed to work. With patience and pain my body would fix itself. Or so it seemed. But most recently it let me down and refused to get any better no matter what I tried (even whining). Until I took the advice of a friend of mine and dropped in to see Dr. Pardis. Mostly I was experiencing lower back and neck pain, muscle spasms and headaches. (sound familiar?) These were precluding me from engaging in many activities, even daily walks. After 3 weeks of regular adjustments, stretching and patience my improvement and ability to get through the day with very little pain has been an enormous blessing! My results have not been immediate or even perfect yet, but it has taken many years to get myself into this bind so it is amazing how quickly "Dr. Mike" got results! Just a half mile walk to the mailbox and back is again enjoyable. Last week my husband asked if someone had walked to our house from the highway because there were footprints in the snow he didn't recognize. These turned out to be mine. Amazingly, I don't appear to be pigeon-toed anymore. More than just my back is straightening out!!! Who knows, maybe reverse aging is next . . . --Connie Horder
